I went on a trip last Monday up to Grafton Notch State Park, north of Bethel, Maine. The trip was fun. A two hour drive that quickly became closer to three each way due to construction (or is it “destruction”?). At first it felt like I was getting a world tour as I drove through Poland, Oxford, Norway, and Paris. I was hoping to get some foliage pics, and I did get a few, but most of the good scenery was on the side of the highway and it’s a little difficult to take pictures while driving over 50 mph.
But I did pull over for this one - I’m pretty sure this is North Pond near Woodstock Maine:

There are some other good pics that I uploaded from this trip and a quick outing to Higgins Beach I made yesterday. Check them out at http://www.flickr.com/photos/lljamie/
